Jalen Pitre, who was born on June 3, 1999, and is currently 23 years, plays safety for the National Football League’s (NFL) Houston Texans. He played collegiate football for Baylor, where he was selected the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year and an All-American by the league’s coaches in 2021.
In the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft, the Houston Texans picked Pitre as the 37th overall choice. In Week 3 against the Chicago Bears, he recorded his first two career interceptions. He is an American and plays football with players Nico Collins and others.
Pitre attended Baylor University located in Waco, Texas, and of course, he played college football.
Pitre started eight of the 12 games he played in as a true freshman in 2017 for Baylor, compiling 37 tackles and one sack. He recorded 11 tackles and one start in 13 games as a sophomore. He participated in four games in 2019 before choosing to sit out. He had 12 tackles after the season was over. Pitre started all nine games as a redshirt junior in 2020 and finished with 60 tackles, two interceptions, and two sacks.
