Turn the Key in a clockwise direction while keeping the nozzle turret (D) at the correct start. The arc will grow by 90 degrees for every complete 360° turn of the Key. You may adjust the arc to any angle between 40° and 360°. After reaching the maximum arc of 360°, the Key will come to a complete stop or there will be a ratcheting noise.
Adjust the radius screw, which is positioned on the top of the sprinkler head, using a screwdriver. Reduce the water flow by turning the radius screw counter-clockwise. Turning the radius screw on your sprinkler will cause friction to be created between the nozzle and the sprinkler head, reducing the quantity of water that enters your sprinkler system.
If you wish to alter the direction of the water coming from your Rainbird sprinklers, you may rotate the spray head to the right or left. Turn the screw on the nozzle clockwise with a flat-bladed screwdriver to shorten the distance between the spray and the user.
Since 1974, K-Rain has operated as a family-owned and run irrigation engineering and manufacturing business in the United States. K-Rain, with its complete array of commercial, residential, and institutional sprinkler systems, rotors, sprinklers, sprays, valves, and irrigation controllers, is dedicated to providing complete client satisfaction.
One hand should be used to lift the bottom riser assembly. Now, just move the bottom riser clockwise or counterclockwise until the nozzle arrow is pointed in the direction you want the sprinkler to begin spraying until you reach your desired spraying location. Continue to rotate in a clockwise direction indefinitely.
Increase the arc of your Hunter rotor head by inserting the plastic key into the adjustment socket, which can be located on the top of each sprinkler head, as shown in the illustration. Turn the adjustment wrench in a clockwise direction in a complete 360-degree circle. Each time you complete a full circle with the wrench, you will see your arc rise by 90 degrees.
Identify and remove a few sprinkler heads from each of the zones in your system, as well as the piping that connected them. The water pressure in the sprinkler heads that remain will be increased when the number of sprinkler heads is reduced. Install a booster pump on the main irrigation line to increase the flow of water.
Adjustments for Pressure Loss Increase the length of the mainline. Reduce the operating pressure of the sprinkler heads. Reduce the pressure loss in the laterals as much as possible. The size of the backflow preventer or valves should be increased to accommodate this. Reduce the initial design flow of the project. In order to improve the water pressure, a booster pump should be installed.
Internal Components That Have Been Damaged These gears must be greased in order to function properly. The majority of the time, water serves as the lubricant. Some sprinkler heads, on the other hand, have a little quantity of oil inside them, which serves to lubricate the gears. If the oil dries up or spills, it may cause damage to the internal gears, which will result in the rotational motion ceasing to function properly.
Showerheads and faucets are two types of fixtures. Pour vinegar into a basin and soak the aerator or showerhead for a few minutes until the deposits are completely gone. If your showerheads or aerators aren’t cleaning themselves, replace them to boost water flow. When properly fitted, a water-saving showerhead may enhance flow while simultaneously reducing water use.
Using a Pro Spray Shutoff Cap or a PVC cap at the lower fitting is required if it is essential to shut down the head for a prolonged period of time. 4 clockwise spins with a tiny flat-head screwdriver are required to tighten the centre radius reduction screw in place.
