Yanqing has a unique buff that disappears when he gets attacked. Due to that, he wants a team that prevents enemies from attacking him as much as possible.
Based on that, here is the best team comp for Yanqing in Honkai Star Rail:

- Bronya (Support Buffer)
- March 7th (Support Shielder)
- Clara (Tank Bruiser)
Clara has a passive ability that increases the chances of enemies attacking her. Additionally, March 7th should use her shield on Clara.
The shield will increase the chances of Clara getting attacked even further and thus will leave Yanqing to deal damage without ever getting attacked.
The most important tip here is to position Clara and Yanqing on opposite sides of the party (positions 1 and 4). This is because if the enemies attack Clara with an AoE attack, Yanqing will get hit also if he’s next to her.
With proper positioning, Yanqing will almost never get hit.

Also, it’s essential to position the Trailblazer and Yanqing on opposite sides of the party again (positions 1 and 4) so that AoE attacks that target the Trailblazer won’t hit Yanqing.
With this setup, Yanqing will be able to deal damage easily and maintain his buffs throughout the entire fight.
